Sharingan Information

Sharingan is trained by word count. Below are a list of Sharingan stages, their abilities at each stage, and the word count to achieve each stage respectively. To train your Sharingan you must submit a thread detailing how you attained one stage to the next, meeting the word requirement, it will be reviewed by the staff and if approved the newest stage will be added to your character Bio.


The Sharingan- (写輪眼; Literally meaning "Copy Wheel Eye", Meaning (Viz) "Mirror Wheel Eye") is a Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai, which appears in the members of the Uchiha clan. It is one of the three great dōjutsu, along with the Byakugan and the Rinnegan.

Activation: 500 words

Description- The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the chakra flow. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements.

The user can read movements slightly better allowing them to track a foes attacks up to 10 speed stat points above their own. Allowing evasion, blocking or countering. (Basically +10 to Speed)
The user may also break, evade or resist Genjutsu 10 points above their own as well as using Genjutsu much more effectively (Basically +10 to genjutsu)

Tomoe Two 1500 Words

The user can now predict movement at very high speeds allowing them to comfortably track and react to speeds up to 20 speed stats above their own. (Basically +20 to Speed)
The user may also break, evade or resist Genjutsu 20 points above their own as well as using Genjutsu much more effectively (Basically +20 to genjutsu)

Tomoe Three 2500 Words

This is the highest step of Sharingan without attaining Mangekyou and as such its predictive abilities border upon a precognitive level allowing the user to easily follow speeds 30 speed stats above their own. (Basically +30 to Speed)
This also grants the user the ability to copy techniques two ranks above their own to a Maximum of S rank. Excluding Bloodline only Jutsu.
The user may also break, evade or resist Genjutsu 30 points above their own as well as using Genjutsu much more effectively (Basically +30 to genjutsu)

Mangekyo Sharingan 3500 words (If using the NPC option)

This is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user.

To acquire the Mangekyō Sharingan, one must suffer great loss, whether by a close friend or family member dying, or in some extreme cases killing them yourself (in the case of PC's you must have considerable back story with that character). Attaining the Mangekyo Sharingan must be a long and detailed RP telling the events that lead to this close friend/relatives death. It can be either an NPC or a Player on the forums but a great deal of work must be put into this tale for it to be accepted. It must also be noted that with each use of the Mangekyo the users eyesight deteriorates and will eventually cause blindness as the Mangekyo seals itself.

Other than the powerful techniques gained a wielder of the Mangekyo will be able to track speeds up to 50 points higher than their own. They will also be able to resist Genjutsu 50 points higher and unleash Genjutsu with a force of 50 points higher than they would originally. They will also be able to copy ANY technique they observe, aside from bloodline only techniques.

The wielder of the Mangekyo also grants the user three abilities, given enough training, that are unique to them. One technique is gifted by the right eye, the other the left and when these two have been unlocked the third and final technique can be attained.

Left eye technique activation- 1000 words
Right eye technique activation- 1000 words
Final technique activation- 2000 words

Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan

The highest form of power any Uchiha can attain. This is arguably the most feared Dojutsu simply because of the diversity of utterly devastating techniques it can grant the wielder. When Eternal is attained the user has such a clarity of vision that a foe will essentially move in slow motion, such is the sluggishness of their movements when compared to the tracking prowess of this Dojutsu.

To attain Eternal one must first kill another Mangekyo user, and then take their eyes as their own. To do this with an NPC uchiha as the victim takes 5000 words MINIMUM. The thread has to be of the highest calibre and if any one detail is not right it will be rejected. However if you have your eye on another players Mangekyo then that is fair game.


Canon Mangekyo Techniques


Amaterasu

This is the highest level Fire Release technique, and according to Zetsu one of the most powerful ninjutsu in existence. It is said to represent the "Material World and Light" (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari), the antipode to Tsukuyomi, a genjutsu of similar power and a fellow Mangekyō Sharingan dōjutsu.

The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision . They're unavoidable as long as the user keeps their eyes focused on their target. The flames are extremely powerful, said to be capable of burning through anything in their path, even smothering regular flames easily. Amaterasu is said to burn for seven days and seven nights, and cannot be extinguished with water or any other normal methods. However, the flames burn fairly slowly, allowing anyone struck by Amaterasu an opportunity to remove whatever clothing or body parts have been caught ablaze. Use of the technique also puts a great deal of strain on the user, usually causing their eyes to bleed.


Stage 2- Kagutsuchi 2000 words

This technique shapes the inextinguishable black flames of Amaterasu into a spiked barrier that not only shield the user but also burn and pierce the opponent if they touch them. This technique costs ALOT of chakra and as such maintaining it for any conceivable amount of time is nigh impossible.

Stage 3- Shield of Amaterasu 3500 words

The user wreaths themselves in an 'armour' like coating of the destructive black flames, meaning that any opponent who strikes them physically will themselves be set alight. This technique costs ALOT of chakra and as such maintaining it for any conceivable amount of time is nigh impossible.

Susanoo

Susanoo is a technique that creates a spiritual humanoid being. The spirit is gigantic and surrounds and protects the user. Like the other techniques granted by the Mangekyō Sharingan, the user is strained while using Susanoo due to it to consuming copious amounts of their chakra. Susanoo is formed through the materialization of the user's chakra and as such it may differ in appearance between users. It begins by forming a large skeleton with muscle tissue around the user. Even in an imperfect state, the bones can act as armor for the user and it is capable of regenerating as long as the user has the energy to spare.

Stage 2- Armoured Susanoo 2000 words

The ethereal being dons a powerful defensive armour that is near impossible to pierce

Stage 3- Totsuka no Tsurugi 3500 words

Susanoo gains the fabled Totsuka no Tsurigi blade, the sword, which is also known as the Sakenagi Longsword (酒刈太刀, Sakenagi no Tachi; Sake Cutter Longsword), is sheathed in a sake jar held by a third hand growing from Susanoo's right forearm. It is an ethereal weapon with an enchanted blade capable of sealing anything it pierces in a "world of drunken dreams" for all eternity.

Tsukuyomi

One of the most powerful genjutsu in existence. It is unique to the Uchiha clan and only those with the Mangekyō Sharingan can perform it. It is said to represent the "Spiritual World and Darkness", the antipode to Amaterasu, a ninjutsu of similar power.

Tsukuyomi requires eye contact to be performed. When executed, the jutsu traps the target in an illusion that is completely controlled by the user and incredibly hard to escape.

Stage 2 2000 Words.

The user can now manipulate time within the illusion making seconds in reality seem like days within the genjutsu world.
