The Village burned, the ground swam in the blood of the fallen. All around Felicia the screams of the dying assailed her ears and the sounds of battle played out like a background noise. It was almost done, they had taken half the village in the first attack, casualties were in the hundreds but comparatively, considering the size of the invasion force, that was a 1% loss. Now all that remained was to deal with the leader of this Village, the Raikage, who resided in the well defended blue structure directly before her.
"Status report." She said to the Sergeant outside the building, whose squad was currently securing the building around them.
"We control 98% of the Village, all essential building are under control and the local Shinobi Force has been obliterated. It seems their elite have withdrawn to this building to protect their Leader." The Sergeant said, his head bows and eyes averted.
Above them the side of the cerulean building exploded outwards in a shower of sparks and a group of Dynasty soldiers slammed into the ground before the General. She didn't spare them a glance but instead let her silver eyes move upwards and focus upon the gaping hole left from the explosion. There was a powerful Chakra there, she could sense it.
"Squads seven, eight and ten have not reported in General, shall i-" The Sergeant began but she raised a hand to silence him.
"I will deal with this personally..." The words rang ominously and brought a surge of excitement and then dread to the Sergeant. No one should be near a Yoma General when they fought, they made no distinction between ally and foe.
"As you wish my lady" He responded and then with a few hand signals his men pulled back to a safe distance.
Felicia gathered her Chakra and then leapt into the air, soaring up some 30ft to the gouge in the buildings outer wall. Her metal toed boots scraped down on the cracked flooring as she came to a stop on one knee. Immediately three masked Ninja flew into action, Kunai drawn, to halt her advance. Her hand reached up to the handle of her Claymore and then without warning each of the ANBU spun to the floor covered in deep gashes all across their body.
"You must be the Raikage..." She said standing up and facing the man draped in a white robe and wide brimmed hat, the dark coloured skin of his deep lined face remained impassive but his electric blue eyes told a completely different story. He was pissed, with good reason.
He said nothing but stood and with a rotation of his shoulders the robe fell away and with one casual motion the hat was thrown aside. He was a powerful looking man, muscles rippling across his arms. The desk before him with the next to go, a sudden blast of electricity that came from his body sent it aside like it were nothing.
"Don't get up..." Felicia said, with not a hint of humour. Her hand rose to the handle of her blade, still upon her back, once again but it didn't get the same results as the last time. Instead the Raikage moved to the left, then right and then ducked down. Each time he moved a gash appeared in the wall where he would have been.
"A fast sword my dear, but not fast enough it seems." The Raikage smiled.
"Seems..." The Raikage raised a brow at this response but then noted the dampness forming across his upper chest.
"Gnhh..." Was all the Raikage could say as from the shoulders up his body separated.
"Learn to count..." Felicia growled and turned back to the large opening. The Village was mostly intact but some buildings had fallen in the attack, some still burning. All in all it had been an easy victory.
"Your orders General?" A Lieutenant said as he came through the office door and stood before her.
"Secure the remainder of the Village and then the borders. No one gets in or out."
